Sky Scout Drones is licensed through the FAA Part 107 as a Remote Pilot (Commercial Drone Operator) and we are fully insured for flight operations. Your Chief Pilot, Dan, turned his passion and dreams into reality when he started Sky Scout Drones!
Dan is an FAA Private Pilot, FAA Airframe and Power Plant Technician and he recently added the FAA Remote Pilot, (Commercial Drone) certification to his rating. Dan spent 20 years in the US Air Force and loves anything aviation!
In our Fleet we have the DJI Commercial Mavic 3 Pro Cine which captures magnificent cinematic video and pictures as well as the DJI Mini 4 Pro and the Avata 2. The Sky Scout Fleet has the industry workhorses to get your job done and done right. The Fleet is growing fast and the hanger is getting crowded!
The newest addition to the fleet is our DJI Commercial Matrice 350RTK which will give us, and you, 55 minutes of uninterrupted flight time! The Matrice 350RTK flight payload for any mission is comprised of either a Zenmuse P1 camera for dynamic photos and photogrammetry or a Zenmuse L2 camera which is used for high precision LIDAR commonly used in modeling to give you highly accurate 3D imaging!
